William Wells' Fishing Stage, Wharf, Slips, Stores, Flakes and Boardwalks

Built in late 1800s by William Wells of Change Islands, Well's fishing stage and wharf is centrally located in a small cove on the main tickle of Change Islands on the northwest side of the North Island, about 500' west of the causeway next to Walter Torraville's fishing stage and wharf. William Wells' fishing stage is a beautiful example of an inshore fishery premises and is a prime stop over for tourists on Adventures Tour's boat tour through the Main Tickle. It is clearly visible by all who travel between the two Islands by way of the E.S. Spencer causeway/bridge.
