he Torraville Heritage Cottage (vacation home), centrally located with a commanding view of the Main Tickle of Change Islands, is available for weekly rent (Sun – Sat) between June and September. Please see the rental calendar for availability. If you would like to rent the cottage outside the regular season please inquire for more details. See below for contact information.
The cottage is located (see map) just west of the bridge-causeway across the Main Tickle that separates the North and South islands of Change Islands and is only 100 feet from the shoreline. The Andrew Bown General Store, a third generation family business, is located just minutes away on the South island and the recently restored Walter Torraville Fishing Stage and Wharf is located just southeast of the Cottage. The Post Office, Medical Clinic and Town Council Offices are located next door on Tickle Point Road.

The cottage has now been completely restored to its original beauty.
The cottage is fully equipped and has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom. It has a beautiful view of the Main Tickle from the veranda. A stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer and full electric heating are included.
Rental rates are $650 per week – extended stays negotiable.
The Walter Torraville Property (Cottage and Fishing Stage), Change Islands was designated a Registered Heritage Structure on May 2nd, 2004 by the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
