Yellow Perch

A bottom-feeding fish of North American inshore waters and lakes especially plentiful around wharves, stages and docks. The Yellow perch is among the most valuable commercial and sport game fishes of North America. In Newfoundland, it is commonly referred to as Tom(my) conner and sly conner (as in he's as 'sly as a conner' describing a person that you couldn't trust). Each perch is individually hand-crafted and may differ slightly from the photograph shown.
