Kraken (Giant Squid)

The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of the northern seas thought to be a giant squid. Squid are long, slender, carnivorous sea mollusks having eight sucker bearing arms and two long tentacles. They can change colours camouflaging themselves and when threatened they can release a cloudy ink-like substance to confuse predators. Small squid are used as food and for fish bait and the famous Squid Jiggin' Ground is found just off of Change Islands. Each kraken is individually hand-crafted and may differ slightly from the photograph shown.
