The Baltimore is the only oriole with a fully black hood and back and orange in the tail. The rump and belly are bright orange. Adult males have a single white wingbar and an orange shoulder patch on black wings. Most spend their winters in Central and South America, but breed in the Eastern USA and Canada. This oriole is an attractive songbird that will come to backyards and feeders and individual males sing a unique song. Each oriole is individually hand-crafted and may differ slightly from the photograph shown.
