Ruby-throated Humming Bird
|
These small, nectar-drinking birds are found in eastern and southern North America. The back and head of the ruby-throated hummingbird are iridescent green, the belly is white, and the males' throat is bright red. Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backward as well as hover in one spot like insects. Each humming bird is individually hand-crafted and may differ slightly from the photograph shown.
