Punts in the Cove
|
Punts and similar craft are a common sight in the many outport settlements of Newfoundland & Labrador and particularly in the coves, harbours, bays and tickles of Change Islands. They are usually moored offshore from the numerous stages and stores that dot the shoreline. Once used exclusively in support of the commercial fishery they now provide recreational pleasure during the long summer days.
