A brazen aquatic bird commonly found along the ragged coasts of the Atlantic. They are very talented and beautiful flyers having long wings, webbed feet, a strong slightly hooked bill, mainly white plumage with some grey and black and an iron stomach. Gulls seem to appear out of nowhere when fishermen are gutting and cleaning their catch-of-day. They often perch on the numerous derelict wharf posts protruding from the rough, rocky ocean shoreline surrounding Newfoundland & Labrador.
